• Lesson length: do not assume every quoted session lasts an hour.
• Frequency: check how often lessons are arranged and over what period.
• Format: individual teaching and a group programme offer different kinds of attention and flexibility.
• Inclusions: ask about preparation, resources, practice and feedback.
• Commitment: establish the payment schedule and terms for changing arrangements.

A headline amount is difficult to compare without these details. Ask for a written explanation of anything that remains unclear.

Questions for a group programme

Confirm the subject coverage, course fit, group size, live teaching timetable and next suitable starting point. Ask how questions and feedback work and what happens if the student misses a lesson.

Our Year 11 Results Programme uses six teaching blocks across three terms. We discuss the available block and practical arrangements before a student joins.
